3 Days Merzouga Tour

Experience a 3-day desert adventure from Marrakech to Merzouga, exploring the High Atlas Mountains, the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, and the dramatic landscapes of the Dades Gorges. Experience a camel trek across the Erg Chebbi dunes, spend a night in a luxurious desert camp, and enjoy the stunning sunrise before returning to Marrakech via the scenic Draa Valley.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges
Your journey begins early in the morning as we depart from Marrakech, heading towards the Dades Gorges. The drive takes you across the stunning Tizi-n-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, we visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, where we’ll stop for lunch. Afterward, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Desert,” and finally reach the beautiful Dades Valley. Here, you will spend the night in a local Riad or hotel, surrounded by the dramatic landscape of the gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi Camel Trek
After breakfast, we set off towards the Sahara Desert, passing through several Berber villages, including Tinjdad and Erfoud, the latter marking the entrance to the Tafilalet Oasis. Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will embark on a camel trek across the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. This experience offers breathtaking views of the vast desert landscape. You’ll spend the night in a luxurious desert camp, enjoying a romantic dinner under the stars, accompanied by traditional Berber drum music.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi – Nkob – Marrakech
Wake up early to witness a magical sunrise over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to Merzouga. After a refreshing shower and breakfast in a Riad, we begin our journey back to Marrakech. The route takes us through the picturesque Draa Valley, dotted with vibrant Berber villages. We’ll arrive in Marrakech by around 8 PM, concluding your unforgettable desert adventure.
